Never got around to posting/taking many pictures of all the holiday orders. But here’s another 3 foot customized lake round.

Heloisa; such a unique name needed a unique sign. First floral of 2021.

First florals of 2021 & the dremel died so each and every piece had to be sanded by hand with nothing but good old sand paper. Can’t wait to glue these up with some dimension and add paint!

Happy New Years from my family to yours! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We are on a break until after the weekend and have been very much enjoying the quiet time. 2020 was difficult for many businesses. We are so grateful for each and everyone of you that placed an order or purchased an item. The Wild Timber grew tremendously in 2020 and I have so much planned for 2021. ... I will be taking on less custom orders and creating more of what fuels my passion. There was extreme burnout the past two months so the way things are done needed to be re-evaluated. Each month there will be a restock day with a limited amount of spots. This will be explained more in the very near future. The website is currently closed for upgrades and restock. Anyone that has placed an order; these are still being fulfilled and finished shortly! Due to Ontario’s province wide shut down; I am unable to take any new orders until Further notice. It is too difficult to find/purchase my usual supplies. Anyone I have spoken to about an order, I will still be fulfilling those. Let’s hope 2021 is brighter and more positive. I’m excited for all the new babies this coming month and next. Look out for some adorable rounds coming up!

This was gifted to my adorable niece who finally received it today My first time making a name puzzle & may offer them in the new year!

Finally finished up this 30 round for a little guy who entered the world this month! Was given a lot of free range on this one and think it may be my favourite boy round to date!

I had set a goal to purchase an employee within the upcoming year. Because you guys have been so amazing at supporting my small business I was able to reach that goal in just a few short weeks. While my scrollsaw will still be my #1 this will have such a positive impact on The Wild Timber! From faster turn around times to more productivity and even tons of new creations (the possibilities are endless with this!) Thank you! When I ultimately decided to leave my career as a nurse after I had my first son it was hard at first to feel proud when people asked what I did for a living. Sign making at that time was just so hard to explain. I’ve worked so hard over the last couple years to build something completely solo that I can now proudly say when people ask I’m a small business owner.

A little while back I had done a name round giveaway to a deserving mom/mom in need. I had so many wonderful nominations and it was hard to pick just one. I finally got around to finishing it and love the way it turned out!

Will be doing one website restock before Christmas! And I have lots of new designs in mind. How cool did this guy turn out, double stacked lettering made for this two toned PLAY sign.

These double sided milestone markers were gifted a little while ago. Since the first two were not needed I replaced with a mini name and stat round.

A last minute custom I squeezed in (because it includes many of my favourite things to do ) So many small details were added to this one from the splash to the rounded tree edges. It was also my first piece designed by drawing my own template on my iPad.

Im not crying, youre crying! My not so little man started his first day of school today. Not going to lie I cried as he got onto the bus and watched me through the window till he was out of sight. I know he will do great things. This sign was made last minute yesterday as it dawned on me that Im a sign maker and I never even made my son a first day of school sign of his own. Lol! Love this style. I did the circle in chalkboard paint, and its a good thing Im not homeschooling him; I can make sick signs but cant even spell his school properly

The view from a boat is good for the soul. This one challenged me; I had a creative block for weeks but I love the final outcome. Present for a hubby who takes solo fishing trips at sunrise by himself.

I love Sunset country! Its a good thing I send proofs before delivery; had the numbers glued up wrong (of course while trying out a new loctite glue )

One of the extremely talented women I follow on Instagram (the house of timber - if you havent checked out her work you should) posted a story the other day. Im sure all makers can relate. Ive learnt so much from her and others and am extremely grateful. As an artist/wood worker we sometimes spend hours and hours coming up with unique new ideas, using our own style. And even more hours after that with trial and error. Its okay to be inspired, not copy; find your niche and make it your own. And always give credit when credit is due *I also have a whole lot of orders finished up. I will be messaging you all soon!*

A planter order almost makes me forget summer is unfortunately nearing an end.

Pretty rainbows last night calls for product pictures! All current orders will be fu filled by the end of this week, including interchangeable signs. (Hubby away and children are wild) I do remain closed for new orders as I have some new things in the works!

In between orders I have been working on advancing my scroll saw skills. These florals will be shaped and dimensional in the end; so far they are coming together perfectly! Hoping to offer some gorgeous baby name rounds in the future.
