The Willow Tree Massage Therapy Clinic 27.09.2020

We have heard on a regular basis from the College of Massage Therapists as well as our association during this pandemic. As of May 8th we are permitted to reopen following strict guidelines as set by the province and our College. Massage Therapy treatments are now permitted. ... I will be posting more on the changes that the clinic will implement to keep you safe. There are items all Massage Therapists must purchase to keep the Piblic safe as well as the therapists safe while receiving treatments and this will take some time to receive. I am working on an operational plan as required by our College and work safe NB. These items as well as the operational plan must be in place prior to opening. I will keep you posted on next steps soon.

I just wanted to reach out and say hang in there everyone. Our province is doing an amazing job!! The stats are very promising. We are all eager to get back to normal and that includes getting back to our health care routines. We are nearing the last leg of this race and I encourage you to stop and take a look back at the hard work we have all done to get to this place. Yes we’re still not back to where we want to be however, we have run a good race and a long race so far. Keep doing what you need to do to stay safe and keep others safe. Our college is talking about a return to work policy but no dates have been released yet.

In this challenging and difficult time remember to take a time out from social media too! Checking in on the latest status and stats of the virus can have an adverse effect on your health. Remember that staying informed has to be balanced with staying healthy both physically and emotionally. Your physical health is affected by your mental health and stress levels. Remember to laugh even if there isn’t anything to laugh about. Watch a funny movie or think about a funny memory.... If your a parent remember that your children are scared too even if they don’t tell you. They know more then you think about what’s happening right now! Tell a funny joke and do normal things as much as enjoying a nice cup of coffee or tea sitting by a window where the sun is shining in your home. Get the things on your to do list you don’t have time for done! It will make you feel better and take something off your plate. Next grocery run pick up ingredients to make a favourite recipe or pick up a treat you all will enjoy. Smile at others you meet in your travels outside your home and stay connected in ways that keep you, your family and others safe. If you or a loved one is ill please know you are being though of and our family hopes you will feel better soon. Take a deep breath and when you exhale try to let those shoulders drop just a little and that stress melt away just a little. See more
