I am doing the @winefolly challenge of 34 wines in 34 weeks. Week 1 is all about Cava! A great sparkling wine from Spain, a white blend that is made using the traditional method, similar to Champagne. I decided to try the CVNE (cune) Cava because I had tried their Rioja reds before and the are always very good. This Cava stood up to some of the other sparkling wines we were tasting. Notes of apples, pears, lemon, a hint of nuttiness with nice, fine bubbles.
