When you bite into a sweet, juicy watermelon this week, it may have been grown on the north fields of the original Woodbridge Farm. Almost non-stop, a determined team of pickers, led by my neighbour, have picked, sorted, binned & shipped thousands of them this week."Another pass", I'm told. Planters of yet another fall crop are at work tonight. Mixed farming is intense, hard work. Thank you.
