After reviewing the City of Ottawa's official COVID pages confirms that the shutdown is very specific to certain businesses such as weight and cardio rooms while other activities, such as public skating and skating lessons, are excluded. Park activities are much closer to skating than being in a gym so it makes sense that indoor parks can stay open. As such, The Yard will re-open as of Wednesday, October 21st. A quick reminder that we are moving to a reservation system. Sinc...e we have drastically lowered our park capacity during COVID, this was a necessary step to avoid turning people away as we move into the winter months. Please visit our website to reserve a spot now and to view our hours of operation. Please note that masks are still mandatory at all times while in the park, including while riding/skating, until further notice. Thank you for your continued support.
