So we thought to step up our game. What do you think? 2&3/8 floating treads with finishing caps. 12mm tempered glass , which goes from floor to floor to floor and then some. These panels came with weight. 250lbs, 310lbs, 315lbs and the tallest is 420lbs. A good days lift. Then the basement glass. Oh ya there’s a white oak rail in there as well.

Open rise, closed end stair. 2&3/8 thick white oak treads and stringers and landing. Slotted for 10mm glass. Wood top rails. For this stair we have installed semi hidden LED lighting that follows the entire stair. Both sides top to bottom.
