So I got these fun Lego themed Valentines ready for Ezra's class, and have now found out the school is not accepting Valentines this year. Another event-casualty of covid. Haha oh well. It's so hard to capture glitter and metallic felts in a photo. My videography skills are very amateur but at least it helps portray just how shimmery glittery these little heart clips are!

I spent this stormy day getting these darling cacti ornaments listed in the shop! They have metallic thread embroidery and optional flower toppers. The blue-y green felt colour is brand new to me and i really love it! Paired with shimmery metallic blue detailing it is perfection! which colour is your fave?

Some gorgeous new metallic seashell clips have landed in the shop! These ones are a stunning holographic silver, with so many subtle hints of colour. Working with the metallic felt has been challenging to figure out, like a puzzle that required so much trial and error. But I couldn't be more happy with the results!

Whooo's looking forward to the weekend? Oh wait. This is 2020 and all the days are the same. Lol. We will be raking out soil on two sides of the house to plant grass. Summertime for us means many weekly trips to the lake and beach for dinnertime picnics and a swim. I love all things beachy and this is the newest most mermaidish colour combo of starfish headband! Plus some sparkly sequins for effect. Available now in the shop! (Sequins not included. Lol)

Flower headbands for days! For the first time in my life I've been working on some real flowers too. This opposite-of-a-green-thumb girl is actually growing a garden! So I guess 2020 hasn't been all bad if it can turn me into a gardener.

It's a starfish headband firework! Haha I got really excited about finding some sequins in my craft supply stash! But the kids are outside squealing in the sprinkler, I'm happily stitching and the sun is shining. Life is firework-worthy today! How's your Friday going?

It's been really hard to know what to post lately. There seems to be one major catastrophe after another in our little province and I don't know what to say. But I'm still here, still making things and I think it's time to try to get back to a sort of normal routine for me. So here's a new product I wanted to share, custom initial hoops! They are listed in the shop. I hope its sunny where you are, somehow the sun eases the heaviness of it all just a little bit.

Like all Nova Scotians this week, I'm absolutely heart broken. And it's really hard to know what to do with that heartache. There just are no words to express the shock and devastation we all feel. All I can think to do is to turn to hope and kindness and always, always to love one another.
