Hi everyone, Just wanted to keep everyone updated, with the change to Red Status and for the safety of everyone. As of December 1st The Yoga Room has now enrolled with ScheduleBliss! Which this means is that you will have to create an account with ScheduleBliss by downloading the app or using the website that I will attach to this post to signup and so you can pre signup for classes before showing up. We ask this so we can maintain social distance and so we know how many yo...gis to expect! We would like to keep the class to 9 people to start and we will readjust as needed! Please bear with us as we make the switch over, most classes for the month have been uploaded to ScheduleBliss and we are in the process of transferring over everyone’s membership. So once you signup we will have your membership attached to your account. What we are also asking as a reminder please wear your masks as you walk into the studio until you have reached your mats, also when grabbing props of using the bathroom, and please when leaving please put your mask on as you leave your mat and leave any props you have used where they are to be disinfected! Lianne will be teaching Monday mornings at 9:30 am Lianne began practicing yoga while studying music performance/pedagogy in graduate school (2016-2018). She found yoga to be very healing and transformative, which led her to pursue a yoga teaching certification. Lianne earned her RYT-200 certification at Blossoming Lotus Yoga in 2020. The Yoga Room would like to welcome our newest teacher Melanie Marshall Rousseau! Melanie is an avid environmentalist, animal-lover, educator, and practitioner of yoga for 19 years, she brings her love and enthusiasm of this transformative practice to share and guide others. Melanie firmly believes that all beings are interconnected and as we nurture our own souls, we are reminded of that connection which helps us to develop an awareness that diffuses into the world around us.... She looks to the natural world for inspiration and infuses her classes with insight and connections. She is also fascinated and drawn to the science of physics throughout yogic philosophy and strives to understand those deep connections and integrate them into her classes. Since completing her yoga teacher-training in 2018, Melanie has introduced breathing and mindfulness practices into her high school classroom to benefit teenagers. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to fully teach yoga and be a part of the beautiful community at The Yoga Room. In Melanie’s classes you will focus on chants, pranayama, and asana with intention to relieve stress, feel grounded, and become more mindful and at ease.
