Hey all! Is anyone looking for an amazing cat who loves to cuddle? This is Captian. He is a young adult, male/neutered, vaccinated and dewormed, domestic short hair cat. He is about 1 yr old and was likely a stray until now. He is extremely affectionate and very well behaved, doesn’t scratch the furniture and he uses the litterbox.... He was a little skiddish at first but he’s really getting used to me, my husband and my 1 year old daughter ... (he even goes to her for cuddles. ) He has shown absolutely no signs of aggression. Captain is FIV positive, which means he has to stay indoors (unless on a harness) and should be the only cat in the home (unless the other cat is also FIV positive). He is afraid of dogs as he hasn’t really been exposed but he is very adaptable, so he may adjust to one. For more information on FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) see the link below... Please know that FIV positive cats can live long healthy lives! https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx

Thank you for your support and patience during the past several weeks. We would like to provide you with an update on our modified services. -We are providing consultations over the phone for non-urgent health matters.... -We are dispensing tick and heartworm preventative medication. -We are selling pet food and products. -We are currently providing in clinic care for urgent health issues. As restrictions begin to subside, we will start to provide vaccine services. We will call you to schedule this appointment. Priority goes to patients overdue for Rabies vaccines. Some patients are 2 months behind their due date and therefore priority will be given to these patients before we are able to accommodate patients that are currently due for vaccines. We will also start to provide surgical services. We will call you to schedule this appointment. Priority goes to female dogs and cats for spay surgeries. Pets can be unique in their healthcare needs. If you have questions about your pet’s care or concerns about their health, then please call the clinic to discuss your pet’s circumstances. We are still maintaining curbside pickup for products and food. We are continuing to keep clients out of the building as social distancing is not an option within our small facility. When you arrive at the clinic for an appointment a staff member will bring your pet inside and you will converse with the veterinarian over the phone. You will continue to receive email reminders for your pets’ exams and vaccines, however, we will call you to schedule these appointments. Please call if you have any questions. We miss you and our furry patients. We are keeping well and thank you for all your kind messages and thoughts. Kind Regards, Your Thickson Road Pet Hospital Family
