Hey all! Is anyone looking for an amazing cat who loves to cuddle? This is Captian. He is a young adult, male/neutered, vaccinated and dewormed, domestic short hair cat. He is about 1 yr old and was likely a stray until now. He is extremely affectionate and very well behaved, doesn’t scratch the furniture and he uses the litterbox.... He was a little skiddish at first but he’s really getting used to me, my husband and my 1 year old daughter ... (he even goes to her for cuddles. ) He has shown absolutely no signs of aggression. Captain is FIV positive, which means he has to stay indoors (unless on a harness) and should be the only cat in the home (unless the other cat is also FIV positive). He is afraid of dogs as he hasn’t really been exposed but he is very adaptable, so he may adjust to one. For more information on FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) see the link below... Please know that FIV positive cats can live long healthy lives! https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx

Weve been seeing an increase in puppies lately. It can be hard to socialize a puppy when you are staying home. If you need some socialization resources please email the clinic & we can pass some along. Stay safe everyone!

Quick video explaining some of our new policies during this isolation time. Dont forget if your pet has to come to the clinic please make sure your pet has a leash on or is in a carrier, so our staff can maintain a safe social distance. Collecting pets directly from your arms or asking us to get them out of your car does not allow proper distancing. We all need to do our part to stay safe & ensure the clinic can remain open.
