PLEASE NOTE we currently do NOT have any Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo cards for sale. We started carrying bingo cards a month before COVID hit, and rebranded and moved our store the same weekend COVID caused the mass shut downs. Because of the COVID shutdowns, Kinsmen Jackpot went to an "online only" sales model. When the economy loosened and things started to reopen, SOME stores were allowed to carry bingo cards again. They made the decision to only allow some stores because the...y didnt want to see mass lineups which could cause a spread of COVID (hence, what happened at Stitt's this morning is what Kinsmen said they wanted to prevent). They hoped more people would buy online. Kinsmen based their store lists on past sales, and our store along with Husky were essentially left off the list because we were "too new" and "not enough sales history". As such, we were told we would get bingo cards again in August. But with this new wave, it has now been moved to "no earlier than mid-late September". So, sadly, we will NOT have Kinsmen cards for at least another month. As such, I am asking my customers to PLEASE not call me at 3:47 AM to reserve 5 cards...And when I said we don't have cards, I didn't appreciate the caller saying the cuss words and namecalling that they said. Oh...reserving cards is just "wrong", and cards should be first come first served everywhere.

Hello, As many of you know, effective MONDAY, AUG 24, new COVID regulations will be kicking in throughout Western Manitoba. Although many of you (us, too) have opinions on forced masks and group sizes, its important to consider the health and safety of our community as a whole, to combat the spread and moreless flatten the COVID curve. As such, we are noting the following: -Effective Monday, ALL on shift EMPLOYEES will wear a mask at all times. ALL CUSTOMERS WILL BE REQUIR...ED to wear a mask while in our store. -MAXIMUM 5 CUSTOMERS will be allowed at any given time in the store, to ensure proper distancing. -We will have TWO tables available for customer use. Anyone sitting at the tables MUST purchase a drink in order to use those tables. While at the table, you may lower your mask in order to consume your purchase. However, once you get off the chair, the mask MUST be properly worn. Each table will have two chairs available, spaced accordingly. -Washrooms will be available for Purchasing customers ONLY, and will be sanitized after EVERY use. -ONE pool table will be open, the one closest to the entrance will be CLOSED. Cues will need to be sanitized before use. We will have sanitizer available for customer use, and if you do not have a mask, we will gladly provide one at no cost. We trust common sense and common courtesy will prevail, and customers AND staff that refuse to follow these provincially enforced guidelines will be asked to comply or leave. I've had customers and staff already say that they will refuse to wear masks....The non-compliance ticket is NOT cheap (ranging from $200+ to $2500+ first offence), so please, if you want to make a political statement, do it at our competitor's shops...They are following the same rules, so its only fair! We WILL BE OPEN Tuesday Aug 25 and Wed Aug 26 from 10-3 for sure. If public perception is masks are a no-go, we will close for the remainder of the week. If our customers are accepting of the new provincially-regulated rules and support our efforts, we will remain open for the rest of the week regular hours. IMPORTANT NOTICE:. We have been advised by our rep at PepsiCo (USA) that ALL aluminum canned pop production has been halted at their facilities throughout the U.S. What this means is we can no longer supply our customers with R.S. Pepsi, Vanilla Pepsi Zero, Dew Code Red, Dew Throwback, Dew Livewire, or Sierra Mist, Pineapple Crush, Strawberry Crush, among others. This halt in production is expected to last "several weeks or months, unless the U.S. government allows Chinese a...luminum to ease pressure on U.S. producers". Add to that, another COVID outbreak has shuttered aluminum production facilities in Texas, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. There will be a point in the next few weeks where Americans won't be able to buy ANY canned drink product produced by PepsiCo. Our Coke and Keurig Dr. Pepper reps are expressing similar predictions on their product. As such, we will no longer be taking bookings on ANY product until inventory rolls back to normal. All product brought in will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Also, we will place limits on cases. This will eventually affect Canadian produced inventories as well, but we at Jolt are not directly affected by Canadian produced inventories. Thanks for understanding.
