Let's keep this in mind and use the positive words instead.

Can we say any of those things too often? I don't think so. Especially if to the child that is struggling in school. They spend 1/3 of their day getting the message that they don't measure up. As parents we only have a few hours a day to contradict that message. Let's help them feel good about themselves.

Comparing is the most damaging to your child.
