Living with intrusive thoughts can be dark, lonely, and overwhelming, and is much more common than many realize. Please know that if you struggle with intrusive thoughts you are not a terrible person and you are not alone. Sharing your burden with a trusted friend, loved one, or professional can be freeing, as it was for this author.

Trauma can affect every aspect of our well-being, but doesn't have to be a life sentence. We all deserve to feel safe, empowered, and supported.

The language is strong, and so is the message. Healthy boundaries have a big role to play in our well-being!

I'm excited to announce that Third House will be moving into its new home at 461 King Street on July 1st! I will continue to offer sessions virtually and will gradually introduce face to face and home-based sessions as it is safe to do so. Very happy to be sharing this great space with Lynsey Wilson Norrad of Bridge to Wellness Counselling and Consulting!
