Todays pies. Last days for peach and blueberry as we roll into fall.

So we said no more bread posts for awhile but we forgot to share that we now have bread on Sundays too! Come grab yourself a loaf for holiday dinner tomorrow....or some burger buns!

We may be closed Monday but its a great day for us to prep and share with some of the beasties on Happenstance Farm. The pigs got a special treat of peach peels today as we pitted and sliced 40l of peaches for this week's pies. We waste as little of our Ontario grown goodness as possible and the 3 little pigs are a big help with that!

Sunday morning feels. Including the triumphant return of our ash sourdoigh and quinoa sourdoigh breads! They aren't quite perfect but perfect is the enemy of the good...and they are very very good!

Meet @zeng._.g. Ricko has been with us for a couple of months and we love him so much! He's the hands and smile behind our baked goods. We have been working intently on a new menu of sourdough breads and are so very close!

Some things in life are tough. For the imediate future we will not be able to produce our wonderful sourdough breads and baguette. We hope to be back to it soon but need to retool and refocus. As always we will keep you posted and appreciate your support!

Part of our urgent needs for a day off at the bakery...building a school! @rltacademy goes back to class tomorrow and there are a few spaces left for this fall still.
