Finished up this beautiful custom piece today. I recieved an inspiration picture and worked with the client to get the right color and sizing. It's made with 100% cotton rope and each strand was hand-dyed to make an ombrè effect. Unicorns galore! . I am a homeschooling mom with four kids (8, 7, 4 and 2). I also own a music studio @allegromusicleduc here in Leduc. I'm in my first year of business and loving it!! Gearing up for Christmas means prepping for piano recitals, a kid's production that I am directing the choir for at church and my own children practicing for their recitals and parts. Details! The colored roving (thick wool) in this piece is from @divinityfibers (you can find her shop on Etsy!). The white roving that I wove into the main structure is a natural fiber from New Zealand. It's pretty much as close to "right off the sheep" as you want to get...there were little pieces of hay in it still! Lastly, I used recycled sari silk for the cream and navy blue sections.
