Dao = path. The foundation of Taoism and the Do in HapKiDo, the martial art I have dedicated my training to. When we look at our life as a journey, as a path to be taken, we can begin to see that every process has its time and place. Understanding that our life cycle and that of nature will have a timeline and rushing the cycle will produce unripened results. ... In our society we are always pushing to see if we can increase our efficiency and just get a little more out of the moment. Thats when anxiety can creep in and rob the results while reducing our health. Nothing of worth needs be rushed. There is always time to breath deeply and calmly. To release the tension in the body. Move forward without rushing and you will go much farther and get much more done. Enjoy the process for the process is your life. #acupuncture #taoism #dao #hapkido #life #health #mentalhealth #anxiety

#Balance ! When people want to know what foods to eat and lifestyle adaptations they often expect a definitive answer. But what is right for one person may not be right fir the other, and what is right can change with the time of day, year or present conditions. What is true though is that finding a balanced approach is often best. Dont go around eating one food cause its the new super food. Try to combine flavours and create a balance in the kitchen and your life. That said, we should be weary of refined foods since they often remove the balance. Sugar in nature is found with fiber and other nutrients. #sugar #chinesemedicine

All right Stop! Collaborate and listen. A quick solution we oft turn to for nutrition in our hectic lives is the #smoothy. Some #frozen #fruit or crushed ice help make it more palatable. #tcm teaches that cold dumped on the #stomach can drain its "fire". So if you are getting some GI issues like bloating, or loose stools, you should try cutting out the frozen and cold foods or drinks.

Say WORD! Not only did i pass, I SUCCESSFULLY passed. Im now one major exam away from the ability to add herbal prescriptions to my therapeutic practice. The first exam was a grindfest and this next one will be worse. But in the end its just the beginning. As the process of professional development is constant and there is always a way to serve my patients better than I did yesterday.
