Ahhhh so great to be working again. Thanks to Craig Ikeda, Danny Cougil, and Sean Feldstein for all their hard work these past two days!
Celebrate Earth Day today and check out my producer and friend, Brandy Yanchyk's series, Coastal Revival for free on Youtube. (Not shot by me!)
With all the craziness of self-isolation and Covid-19, it was amazing to work with Eric Pauls Productions to contribute to the Vivo Play Project. I got to film Carly and Everly doing a rainbow craft inside while Eric watched on a monitor in our backyard/driveway.
Just wanted to share one of the walk-around videos I filmed and edited for Volkswagen at the The Official Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto two weeks ago. Big thanks to Atash from Wunderman Thompson, Thomas Tetzlaff from VW Canada, TAXI, Carlos Mora, and my fellow shooter, Victor Cooper from Eighty Twenty studio for all his help over three days

Hard to beat a swamp tour by a star from the show, Swamp People! RJ Molinere was such a cool guy
Grateful to work on this project! Seeing the USA will air on PBS throughout the U.S. and on Amazon Prime
Our visit to the Whitney Plantation was really powerful and not one I will ever forget.
As a father to young kids, it was really powerful to learn about the lives of the enslaved people who lived at Whitney Plantation including seeing these incredible statues. "The Children of Whitney, a series of sculptures by Ohio-based artist Woodrow Nash, represent these former slaves as they were at the time of emancipation: children. Whitney presents the stories of these children as told in their own words. The visitors are introduced to the lives of the enslaved workers based on the recollections of those who endured, and who shared the stories of their lives as children in slavery."
