VULNERABLE PERSONS REGISTRATION DAY Living Safely With Dementia ... (LAMBTON, ON) - Statistics have shown that at some point, 3 of 5 persons suffering from dementia will go missing. If lost for more than 24 hours, half of those persons will suffer significant injury and on occasion, death. Living with dementia is a very difficult journey for the afflicted and their family members. The Alzheimer's Society of Sarnia-Lambton has partnered with Ontario Provincial Police in Lambton County by creating a Vulnerable Persons Re gistry. This Registry will contain valuable information that will be utilized to protect vulnerable persons within our communities. The registrant is requested to bring a recent photograph and be willing to share information that would assist in a potential missing person's investigation. The collected information will be secured and only utilized in assisting vulnerable persons.
