The local Georgina market saw some great movement over the month of August. Detached home sales saw a small reduction in the number of homes sold and an increase in average price from $712,818 to $731,183. Semi-detached home numbers and attached/row homes increased in sales and mild changes in the average price sold for.

Greater Toronto Area (GTA) home sales continued with a record result for the month of August with 10,775 residential sales in August 2020 up by 40.3 percent compared to August 2019. Lower interest rates, improved economy as of late, and reduced travel due to Covid seem to have had a positive impact on the number of home sales that continued through August.
