New year, new ? Like most of us, I’m sure you have some hopes, goals, and ideas for how you would like 2020 to play out. The beginning of a new year ( and moreover decade) can be exciting, exhilarating, and quite frankly scary and cause undue pressure that we place on ourselves. Somethings we got and other things we could use some extra help in navigating through this enormous thing we call life. Thank you for checking out my profile. I have been working with children, adole...scents, adults, and families for over 17 years. I have a graduate degree in Counselling Psychology and I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I have been working in children's mental health and have extensive experience working with children and youth individually as well as with parents and families. I also have extensive experience working with adults struggling with mental health issues. My areas of expertise include: Depression, Anxiety, Anger management, Stress (difficulties managing stress in your life or in your family life), Parent support (i.e. parent education, co-parenting support, supporting parents with children dealing with mental health problems), and Adolescence (low self-esteem, low confidence, relationship struggles, conflict in the home, etc). I have been described by colleagues and clients as a passionate, empathic, and caring therapist and I can truly say that I love what I do. I take an eclectic approach in my therapy and incorporate various approaches in my work. I have offices in Thornhill and Etobicoke. Alexandralelias.com

I know I preach about most of these 10 pieces of advice with my clients and in my personal life, yet can they be so hard to practice. I want to know what you think about them? Thoughts?

This is a great article around the emotion of anger and how it can impact relationships, wellbeing , behaviour if not understood.
