Bizzy & Maple are anxiously awaiting the arrival of 2021. Incoming from this window, apparently. Bizzy already thought he saw it once and pointed, but it turned out to just be a largish squirrel. Anyway. We close at 1PM today then reopen Monday for curbside. Happy New Year & Long Live the Largish Squirrel.

We now have a power tower charging station for all your away from outlet low battery needs. It’s on wheels too, so theoretically we could also roll it over to a multiprong situation and then just be dripping with electricity. Livin’ the dream. But no, we’ll like, let you use it and stuff.

Ok, so here’s not even our weirdest reminder of 2020: Please make sure to actually request items for pickup before (or potentially during) scheduling a curbside pickup. Cause otherwise it’s just a curbside nothing. And it doesn’t even occur near the curbs. So just a nothing nothing then.

You can find a lot of information on a spine label. Department. Author. Whether it’s the type of book that would text normally in lower case or one that would do all yelling.

Apparently we are now big fans of purchasing ironic rugs. Certainly there are worse vices. You are NOT welcome in our library right now (provincial lockdown) but we are happy to serve you via curbside pickup. Place your orders via our online catalogue or give us a call at 905-227-2581.

Ok, so maybe other library staffers in other libraries have wondered what their building might look like to a giant, but what are they actually doing about it? See, we got you.

We reopen tomorrow for curbside pickup appointments. Now let's make sure we're all good and ready.

Bizzy & Maple said to keep posting their mask PSA until everyone finally understands how to wear one without an inordinate amount of coaxing. Ok. Post 3 of 947,921,345/infinity.

You are now officially in the job application sweet spot. Too early and we’d have thought you reckless, leave it too close to deadline and we’ll be like, Hmm, is this how all the projects be coming in? http://www.thoroldpubliclibrary.ca//Job-Posting-Makerspace

We want to make sure we get the right person for this new job opening, so rather than post some flashy pic entitled EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY, we’re going with a collage of dogs. This should lead them to us. http://www.thoroldpubliclibrary.ca//Job-Posting-Makerspace

No, we don’t have Bank Facts 2020, but can we interest you in this 1996-97 edition that we haven’t yet mustered the courage to part with? Big bank facts year for us.

This year our annual Holiday Drive is a food/toiletry/gift card collection in support of Community Care of St. Catharines & Thorold. Now, some of the foods here are appropriate donations. The others are what Bizzy chose. Ok wait, he’s now saying it’s his lunch. And that he’s in training. To binge watch something, apparently.

We have just begun our annual TPL holiday decorating and it’s going very 2020 so far.

You’d be amiss if you thought our lovely skylight adjacent windows were actually photographs but your first mistake would be assuming we could afford artwork. Nonetheless, enjoy.
