Please be advised that there has been a water main break leading to Thorsby High School and Thorsby Elementary School. At this time the water to both buildings has been shut off and there is no timetable as to when water will be restored to either school. As such the school buildings will be closed tomorrow (January 7th) as the Town of Thorsby works to fix the problem. Teachers and Education Assistants will continue to follow the At-Home learning plans that are in place. All classes are scheduled to proceed. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

The staff at Thorsby Elementary School would like to send out a big Thank You to TEPA, THS PTA, and various community members who donated money to purchase a Tim Horton's gift card for each staff member. A very special Thank You to Tori Walls who organized this endeavor. This generosity is greatly appreciated!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Enjoy some student art work as well as stockings brought in by staff members! Many of the stockings are from when the staff members were children.

A Halloween tradition at our school is to do a parade in the gym to show off our costumes. This year, we did something a bit different. We had a parade around the library and the students were able to watch the parade in their classroom through a Google Meet. It worked really well. We are doing what we can to keep our traditions going! Happy Halloween, everyone!!
