In light of the province of Ontario current reductions on gathering Of September 19 2020 . We have called MPP Steven Clark's Office to get written clarification that we were exempt from the new restrictions as an outdoor recreational sport event. They agreed that were were exempt but would not commit to giving us documentation of clarification. We were told to call the Ontario Provincial Police of which we called the Leeds County OPP. In conversation with the person at the d...etachment they also agreed that were appeared to be exempt, but the OPP could not state that if they were called to investigate that we would not be fined $10,000.00 for hosting the event. Since we are unable to get clarification on the new restriction imposed by the province of Ontario the board director of the Thousand Island ATV Club have regretfully HAD TO CANCEL OUR FALL COLOURS Ride. The trails are open please enjoy safely. See more
