Update: I was talking to administration at the Janeway today and they are still not allowed to take any bereavement sets or other donation items due to covid. We are still packaging and storing all our items until a drop off can be made. If you know of anyone in need of bereavement clothes or any other items we have made, please message us and we would be glad to supply any item we have to them with no questions asked. Thank you for your support

Update: So I was talking to administration at the Janeway and they are still not taking any bereavement sets or other donation items yet and cannot give me any info on when they might be taking donations again. I'm so disappointed that I don't have any good news but I'm going to check back with them again next month. In the mean time we are going to keep going, stay positive and gather together any items that have been made, sanitize, package and store them for the time when... they can be delivered. If you know of anyone in need of bereavement clothes or any other items we have made, please message us and we would be glad to supply any item we have to them with no questions asked. I just want to thank everyone for their hard work and support of Threads for Gemma. It means so much

Some tiny items dropped off to me this week by some busy bees! Thank you Leona Walsh, Melissa Dawe and Lucy Rideout The support is just amazing! We can't wait to be able to drop off all these sweet things when we get the permission to do so! I know there are a couple of people I haven't gotten to pick up their items yet, but don't worry you haven't been forgotten and I will be in touch soon

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me with my service project! The amount of donations I have received is amazing. I haven’t counted all of the knitt...ed caps, booties, etc. yet but we just reached a total of 80 blankets for Threads for Gemma! I would love to reach 100. Lori Roberts Jacinta Melvin
