Calling all #vintagekenmore owners! My beloved hand-me-down sewing machine (gifted to me by my mother-in-law) has just started acting up. It seems like the feed dogs are not working but I’ve oiled and cleaned them thoroughly. The top thread breaks as it is completing its journey across the bobbin. I’m no sewing machine repair expert but I’ve always managed to keep my various vintage machines ticking along nicely. The instruction booklet is woefully devoid of advice (the best it can do is tell me I’ve perhaps threaded it wrong or set the tension wrong...nope). Any thoughts? Thank you in advance!!! I can’t even sew a seam until I get this sorted.
