Today is International Lego Day! 62 years ago today is the exact day that Danish carpenter, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen first submitted his patent for the original Lego brick. StoryWalk: The Mitten by Jan Brett Please stop by the library January 26th-February 5th, Tuesday-Friday between 11 am and 4 pm to pick up your map and instructions. Because the library is still closed to the public, the StoryWalk Bag will be available for pick up on a table just outside the library entrance.

World Braille Day has been celebrated since 2019 and is to raise awareness of the importance of Braille as a means of communication for blind and partially sighted people. There are free resources available if you would like to learn more! http://ow.ly/ojDy50CSA2n

The winner of Lego in a Bag is Esra B! The Lego challenge was to create a festive gingerbread house out of Lego. Everyone who sent us a picture was entered into a draw. We think you all did a great job and we wish we had prizes for everyone.
