Exciting news. I have been selected as an apprentice for the Writer's Guild Mentorship program. I have the great fortune to be working with Sheri-D Wilson - and many of you will understand what an honour and a great opportunity this is for me. I fully expect a deep dive into poetry will not only fill my well, but will inspire my celebrancy work. When you find the one who is truly yours, after searching for your whole adult life...this is what that kind of joy looks like. Two days, two masks, two ceremonies, two very different and very wonderful couples. My husband thinks I like being a Celebrant because I get to dress up. That's partly true. The dressing up is all part of the magic, of preparing my mind and my heart to meet the moment. Of bringing myself wholly to their day. As my yoga teacher Erin Evans says, "I love my job!"
