A little more information about our decision to take clothing at Thrift Warehouse ... In these days of COVID, we at SIRCH have seen a level of need in the community that we have actually never experienced before during our 31 year history. We know from our food programs that many individuals and families are having difficulty meeting basic food and housing costs, let alone clothing and other necessities of life. Having two stores with good used clothing will help fill a need ...and will also, we hope, encourage people to shop locally rather than go out of town. We support 4Cs 100%. They are an amazing organization! And they have been generous in sharing information, and taking us for a tour at the Lily Anne to give their suggestions and talk about what they’ve learned over the years. Our clothing section at Thrift Warehouse will be relatively small, and we will encourage our customers to also visit the Lily Anne to see a further, ever-changing selection of clothing, shoes, blankets, sheets and more.

Does anyone know who this is? We'd like to give him directions to the Dysart landfill site. Apparently, he thinks the dump is at our gate. When people drop garbage off at Thrift Warehouse when we are closed, it costs our charity time and money. This translates into fewer services for residents in need. If you run into this guy, please explain that to him!

Thanks to all of the amazing donors who have helped our Sirch team provide 5,743 meals, over 1500 soups, and 1,758 servings of fruit during Covid-19 , it makes all of our efforts so worth it when we hear stories like this

Come on down to Thrift Warehouse. We're OPEN TODAY and have been working hard to get things ready. You'll see BIG differences. The building supplies are now displayed safely inside -- sinks, vanities, doors, cabinets and more. Donations are by appointment only and that has been working really well so if you have something you'd like to donate, give us a call. We of course still have furniture, housewares, lighting, books and more. In fact there's a lovely book nook set ...up now. Hours are the same as before (10 - 5) but we are limiting the number of people to 10 shoppers at a time. So come on in -- we'd love to see you.
