This is a good question. There are a few key things to know: Not every lender premiums the interest rate, but most do. For a lender, rental properties are a higher risk.... The premium on interest is usually around 0.25% or less. Don't let any of this stop you from purchasing an investment property. There are a lot of ways to overcome these slight differences in cost.
