Does feeling worn out all the time sound familiar? It does for most of us. That’s why I’m wildly excited to make sure every person on the planet knows about the upcoming Daring to Rest - Autum pop-up that I’m offering, October 15, 2019, from 6:30-8:00. We will be surrendering into the seasons rhythm through the practice of Yoga Nidra meditation. The exchange is $25.00. ... To learn more about this offering- click on the link below. If you haven’t heard about yoga nidra meditation also know as the SLEEP of the yogi then you should. Just 45 minutes of this powerful guided sleep meditation feels like three hours of sleep in your body. This program is based on Karen Brody’s new book, Daring to Rest: Reclaim Your Power with Yoga Nidra Rest Meditation. Daring to Rest, quite frankly, is the program every worn woman needs because getting deep rest has the power to heal so many of our modern stress-fueled ailments. Rest is medicine. I knew the moment I read this book, and practiced the 40 days of Daring to Rest, that I wanted to train with Karen to offer this work to you. PS: If you have worn out friends, do them a favor and forward this email to them. They may need to dare to rest too. http://eepurl.com/gEZJaf

"It was not witches who burned. It was women. Women who were seen as ... Too beautiful Too outspoken Had too much water in the well (yes, seriously) Who had a birthmark Women who were too skilled with herbal medicine Too loud Too quite Too much red in her hair Women who had a strong nature connection Women who danced Women who sung or anything else, really. ANY WOMAN WAS AT RISK BURNING IN THE SIXTEEN HUNDREDS Sisters testified and turned on each other when their babies were held under ice. Children were tortured to confess their experiences with witches by being fake executed in ovens. Women were held under water and if they float, they were guilty and executed. If they sunk and drowned they were innocent. Women were thrown off cliffs. Women were put in deep holes in the ground. The start of this madness was years of famine, war between religions and lots of fear. The churches said that witches, demons and the devil did exist and women were nothing but trouble. As we see even today, there is often a scape goat created, and the chaos escalated in Sweden when the Bible became law and everything that did not line up with what the church said became lethal. The Bible fanaticism killed thousands of women. Everything connected to a women became feared, especially her sexuality. It became labelled as dark and dangerous and was the core of the witch trials through out the world. Why do I write this? Because I think the usage of words are important, especially when we are doing the work to pull these murky, repressed and forgotten about stories to the surface. Because knowing our history is important when we are building the new world. When we are doing the healing work of our lineages and as women. To give the women who were slaughtered a voice, to give them redress and a chance of peace. It was not witches who burned. It was women." Posted @withregram @jana_roemer There is one word that has been relentlessly returning front + center to my consciousness from the moment this whole COVID chaos broke: Position Among other things, this word, position, has been highlighted to mean: ... The position you sit within yourself. More specifically, how it FEELS to live within your body. In your flesh & bones, in your nervous system, your digestion, your breath, your chemical body. How your are positioned within your mood, your emotions & your Spirit. Move only at the pace that allows your actions + words to be in alignment with your: Presence Heart Values Intuition Responsibilities Power We have been begging for the world to slow down. To not be so busy. To have enough time to rest, play + laugh more. To be able to enjoy that morning elixir + yoga or meditation practice or whatever it is you’ve been wanting to have more time for... and here we are, in this giant global slowdown + so many are still pushing forward with so much vigor. I know some of you want to get your big project done (I’m one of those people), but don’t push forward at the cost of abandoning yourself. That means making room for other people to slow down too. Emails + texts don’t have to be returned instantly, nor do we need to take offense if others are slow. Remember that you are always dealing with real people going through real struggles. It’s okay to take a mental health day, even though you’re working from home. You can close your email, zoom, phone or computer + take time for you. There’s a reason we are being called to connect with our ancestors. And another one of those reasons is that we’re returning to our roots as a collective Humanity, a time when our intuition + the stars were what guided us. When the rhythm of the sun + the moon set the pace. This all requires that we slow down even more so we can actually pay attention to how it all feels. Break free from how it ‘should’ feel & get present to how it does feel. Slow down. Never abandon yourself. You are needed & the messaging of how is coming from within. Move only at the pace that allows for presence. More specific astro weather shared at @attunet

My beautiful friend, teacher mentor Sonja @sonjamelinayoga is putting together a beautiful offering for women to gather together through July-August. Check out her link. Posted @withregram @sonjamelinayoga My sister, you are ready to embark on a journey of courage and radical transformation through the art of Priestess, sacred ritual, ceremony and embodied practices that will take you home to your wildest-wisest source of power and most authentic nature. The path of the Pr...iestess is to know Thy self. It is a coming home to a deep remembrance of who you are and why you are here. Returning home to original source essence ‘Holy Sophia Wisdom’. Once you awaken to your true essence, you will naturally begin to speak, create and move from a place of radical authenticity and birth your divine feminine dreams into the world. You will discover answers to questions such as: Why am I here? What is my purpose? What is my authentic voice? What am I to birth into the world? You will be held in the most sacred of spaces as you awaken to your purpose and heal at the deepest level possible. It would be my deepest honour to hold you in the safest, most sacred space, on this journey home. Together we Rise!! Doors close tonight with the full moon and we begin tomorrow morning! Awooooooooooo https://www.sonjamelina.com/holy-wild Wild love & Magickal full moon blessings

Posted @withregram @jana_roemer By posting words, I know I’m going against the stream. But please please read the words in these images from @mykkiblanco - the black squares flooding the feed are dangerous. Social media has been one of the only ways to get information out and organize. Read, delete your post & use the hashtags wisely. I’m 100% for solidarity & an actively researching how to do that in a way that is actually helpful. Instead of flooding the feed with squares, amplify black voices.
