Today we remember the 14 women whose lives were tragically cut short during the École Polytechnique shooting. On this day 31 years ago, a gunman entered the school and targeted female students taking engineering classes. In this moment, and in memory of these women, Thurber would like to acknowledge our female colleagues, past, present, and future.

We are excited to announce the appointment of Erik Stevenson as Kamloops Office Branch Manager. Erik received his undergraduate degree in Geological Engineering in 2010 from the University of British Columbia and his M.Eng. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering in 2015 from Queens. Erik joined Thurber in the Vancouver office in 2010 and moved to the Kamloops operation in April of 2018 and has focused primarily on transportation, foundation and pavement projects. ... Outside the office, Erik enjoys walking his dog, hiking and camping with his wife Rebecca and sleep filled nights with his newborn baby girl Claire. #ExecutiveTeam #ThurberPeople
