Where it all began. These are some of the first 'finished' pieces I ever created. The one in the center is my all time favorite. I just loved how the shape of the maple burl wood created an almost mountainlike scene with the blue resin when it was turned on its side. This journey started more than 3 years ago. Hundreds of hours of research, testing, trials and errors and experimenting, have culminated in the products you all see today. Some would say I overanalyze too much... and take too long to finish things or that I'm too much of a perfectionist, but I disagree, I just want to be sure the pieces I create are up to not only my own high standards, but to my customer's standards, as well. There have been many ups and downs throughout this whole journey, but I wouldn't change a thing. I've met so many wonderful artists and makers, forged strong relationships with business owners and have cultivated a supportive customer base and social media following along the way. I'm so grateful to each and every one of you to have this opportunity to share my work, my ideas and a little about me every now and then. I'll admit, I'm no pro at social media and I haven't been around much lately, but sometimes life gets in the way. I promise to give you more of what you've come to expect from me so follow along as we kick it into high gear! Fall is here now and things will get busy in a hurry.
