Holy moly it's legal!? As all of us are aware its now legal to use recreational cannabis in Canada. Whether you fall on the yay or nay side of the argument there are some important things to remember with regards to massage therapy treatment. If suspected under the influence of ANY drug legal or otherwise (this includes alcohol) treatment must be refused. As your RMT it's important to create a reliable and trusting relationship with you as my client. This cannot be ensured without your ability it give informed consent. In short the use of weed will fall under the same category of alcohol use and not tabacco use. As always take care of yourself and I'll see you on the table soon!
