Hi all, I’d like to proudly announce I’ll be participating in this small, local to downtown Guelph Christmas sale.

The start of The Guelph Studio Tour is tomorrow and goes until Sunday evening! Starts at 10 am. I’m very excited and proud to be participating in it. Lots of last minute running around, and preparing is happening currently in the depths of my space but it’s starting to look like it’s coming together. Im loving the texture on these poppies. This is close up of a large commission Im working on and the scale allows for really great thickness.

Join me for any of my upcoming workshops. These impasto (thick paint) workshops are for all levels including beginners; they are fun with plenty of one on one time. All participants will come away with a painting they can be proud of. -----For people who are serious about learning and having fun.-----

Recently finished! Ive been working off and on, on this painting for over a year. I love this painting especially for its simple colour palette and lines of prospective that draw the viewer to the top of the hill. This is the local scene; the picture having been taken from the bottom of the Elora gorge looking up towards the park.

Approached at Stratford Art in the Park to make a commission based on the image I had on my business card (a painting I had previously painted), I made these two paintings for her to choose from. So excited to see which one she will choose! As always, I feel so honoured by the trust my patrons place in me and my abilities. A great thanks to you, you know who you are.

Painted as a commission, I thought Id share this painting simply because Im proud of it. Enjoy!

Some of the hydrangeas I painted this year. I love how hydrangeas come in many colours and their petals come in many sizes. Such an interesting and diverse plant.

Garden gossip a swirl 24 x 15 This painting was created to feel playful and windy. As I was creating it, I was imagining a warm and sunny early September afternoon. It was loosely inspired by a garden space I shared, with friend this summer, at Ignatius farm.
