The annual event is upon us. Some beautiful works from the custom makers in the Pen Artisan Guild. While I was unable to make in my own entry in this year, I am awed by the those that did. Just received the unfortunate news. Scriptus has been canceled for 2020, due to the uncertainty around Covid-19. While I will miss seeing everyone, I am glad a proactive decision has been reached. This is my lastest creation, my first Rollerball. The materials are an imitation vintage casein and some of my own purple Alumilite. The trimmings and clip are made from Nickel-Silver. The trick was was shaping the nose cone and inner dimensions to fit the Schmidt 888 refill. I am looking to add interchangeable sections allowing rollerball or fountain pen. I like how it came out and am glad to add it to my workbook.
