With the ongoing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we continue to try and keep both our staff and clients safe. At this time, we allow clients into the hospital with their pet, however, we limit 1 client per patient into the examination rooms (special considerations may apply). We ask for your support regarding social distancing, wearing a face mask at all times and staying home if you have visited outside the Atlantic bubble or are feeling ill.

Yesterday was officially our first day of operation! What a great day! We were overwhelmed with the outreach and community support. POLICY REGARDING COVID-19: Timberlea Animal Hospital is opening its doors Monday June 15th, 2020. We would like to inform our clients of our operating protocols so that both our staff and clients can remain safe during these unprecedented times. ... 1. We will unfortunately need to cancel our grand opening and are unable to accommodate hospital tours until a later date. 2. Curbside pick up will be recommended and preferred for food, medications, pet accessories etc. 3. One client will be able to accompany their pet into the hospital during their appointment. We will be looking for your patience as we will have no more than 2-3 appointments in the building at one time. 4. Clients who choose to enter the building, must wear a face mask. If a client does not wish to enter the building, curbside or verbal consultations over the phone may be performed but physical exams will be performed in the building. 5. Clients will be asked to call us on arrival to our hospital and advised to please wait in their car for instructions prior to entering the hospital. Any clients feeling unwell and experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 will not be permitted to enter the hospital. 6. Reviewing estimates, discharges, and performing payment transactions etc. will be encouraged to be done over the phone or outside using our remote POS terminal to limit congestion in hospital when needed. Yesterday was a big day, our parking lot has been paved!! We are proud to offer ample, convenient, and stress free parking for you and our beloved patients. Stay tuned for even more exciting updates coming soon!!!

At Timberlea Animal Hospital, our goal is to deliver the best possible medical care and outstanding customer service to every patient and every client, every visit! Dr. Nolan Osborne and Dr. Rhonda MacDonald are excited to open their doors in the near future and provide tailored services to suit your pets specific medical needs.

Although our opening date is still to be determined, behind the scenes, it is all coming together! We continue to work hard towards opening our hospital as soon as possible. Once the opening date is confirmed we will announce it on social media and the roadside sign. Stay tuned!

Due to lifes current circumstances, we are having to postpone the opening of our clinic. Our suppliers are not able to install the critical equipment needed to operate the hospital. Since we are all spending more time indoors, our doctors are using this opportunity to hone their ultrasound skills. It certainly helps to have a lovely assistant like miss Joanne to help out!

We have heard from many of you wondering about our plans for opening Timberlea Animal Hospital this spring. We want to assure you that our team continues to move forward with our progress! This week, the ceiling drops are down and the floors have been prepped for installation At this time, we are trying our best to keep our opening date in the spring. We are continuing to operate under the current public health recommendations and will continue to do so as long as our individual teams can ensure the health and safety of their workers. We are staying positive and looking forward to meeting you and your animal families this spring!
