Well we may have missed our #TBT for a week but we can make it up by showing off this beautiful Stoney lake island cottage. Designed and built by Timberline in 2004, the detail in this cottage is remarkable. Completely eliminating drywall in this build, reclaimed wood was incorporated throughout it including natural, heart pine that came from old beams in factories built over 100 years ago! Still one of our favourite builds, and lucky us, we still get to work with these amazing clients and enjoy the incredible view of the lake while doing so! #TBT to this hobby garage designed and built by Timberline in 2014. It was a finalist at the 2015 Peterborough & the Kawarthas Home Builders Awards for "Best Outbuilding". This garage was designed to match the existing lakefront home on the property, with pre-finished board and batten siding, high gables and a metal roof finish. The unique roof lines allowed for a high ceiling to accommodate the 2-post car hoist used for working on antique cars.
