A long overdue update on these sweeties, sorry folks!

It's incredibly hard to put into words what a dog brings to our lives. Each one has it's own unique personality quirks and ways of getting our attention and showing their affection. Tofino, you were no different. You were playful, goofy, loving and loyal. always quick to learn and wanting to be in on all the action. We can't describe how much we valued you here and how much we miss you. On Monday morning we had a planned breeding with Tofino and had no idea that it would be ...his last. By that evening we rushed him to Guelph OVC. By 1 am he was in surgery for a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. He came through surgery better than expected but by Wednesday it was clear things were not progressing as we were hoping they would and (along with his excellent care team at OVC) we made the very difficult decision to mercifully end the pain he was in. He will always be remembered here as one of our greatest founding members. We are so grateful for the legacy he leaves behind and we continue to look forward to his impact on future generations here at Timeless Companions. Tofino you won't be forgotten. See more

For all of you waiting on news of future Bernedoodles here's an exciting update! Autumn was bred AI to Lennox this week and then we did a follow up natural breeding to DC. This was done in order to ensure our chances of pregnancy as minis are proving to be more of a challenge to get. Only time will tell as to which of the Daddy's genes win out! We are really hoping for a big healthy litter of minis as so many of you are waiting on these but we'll be over the moon happy with DC babies too as he gives us such beauties as well :)
