Time To Heal 10.12.2020

Train your mind. How do we train our minds to be strong? How do we as men become stronger in our thoughts, words, and actions? We MUST gain ...some control over our emotions, but in order to do this, we have to have a relationship with them. Because we can’t avoid them, or be devoid of them. That will never work, because your emotions live within you. They are a part of you. And trying to live by avoiding your emotions is much like saying that you’ll avoid your eyesight... But that’s no good, because once you’ve seen the world In all it’s glory, you never want to experience it without seeing it. And much is the same with emotions. Our aim is not to try and experience life without them, It’s about learning to SEE life more clearly with them, by seeing right through them. By seeing how some build you up, and other want to tear you down, Rip you apart, And tell you you’re a piece of shit who will inevitably fail, or that you’ll never rise up and amount to anything. So our mental work isn’t about avoiding emotions, And it’s certainly not about letting them run the whole damn show, cause that would be chaos... It’s about giving ourselves the training we need to be more capable at processing our emotions. Learning how to ell the inner critic in us to shut the hell up once in a while, Or to set boundaries with the little punk ass in us (aka - the victim) so it doesn’t keep sabotaging us when we have tough conversations, Tough situations, Or important choices to make in our lives. But that requires us to step out of the box and do the hard work to heal from shame, abuse, bring abandoned, Or never really having any guidance in our lives. So take some time to process. Get to know your whole system, And start training your mind, your emotions, and your body. In many ways, this is the work I teach. It’s what I live and breath for. And because of that work, my life radically changed. Comment below with your favorite way to train! See more
