The Timmins Public Library invites the community to share your creative expression during the pandemic. From now until April 30th, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. EDT, we are requesting your digital submissions of artwork, photography, journaling, poetry recipes, etc., which will be compiled as a printed book through Blurb Books, titled Coping Through Creativity. Open to all ages! We will also be hosting monthly inspiration sessions with guest presenters from several creative groups in the community. WELCOME BACK! We’ve missed you. The Main Branch and C.M. Shields Branch are now OPEN! The Timmins Public Library is excited to begin opening its doors again and welcoming you back safely. As part of our gradual return to service, we are offering limited in-person services at the Main Branch and C.M. Shields Centennial Branch, including holds pickup, browsing, limited computer use and printing. Curbside pick-up is still available. Please review the poster to see a complete lis...t of available services and our new COVID-19 health and safety measures. For example, computer sessions must be booked, all visits are limited to 45 minutes, and masks must be worn at all times as per the Porcupine Health Unit directive. Library Hours for the Main Branch and C.M. Shields Centennial Branch are: Monday: 1 6 p.m. Tuesday: 1 6 p.m. Wednesday: 1 6 p.m. Thursday: 1 6 p.m. Friday: 1 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday CLOSED *Hours are subject to change.
