Today is International Firefighters Day! We are proud to be protecting The City of Timmins. We did it yesterday, will do it today and in the future to keep this city safe. It doesn't matter what situation is given to us we will be there.

We have noticed that a discussion is taking place on facebook regarding burning within the Province of Ontario. The MNRF has implemented a burning ban which INC...LUDES The City of Timmins. Any burning within city limits is considered illegal and charges could be laid. The burning ban was implemented and the City is required to follow it. Resources are required to battle COVID-19 and this also stops individuals from gathering in groups which is still happening. This virus will not be stopped until people stay home and not gather in groups. See more

If you have travelled please follow the quarantine rules and stay hom...e, others are asked to practice social distancing. By doing these two things will stop the spread of this virus and keep everyone safe. If you do need help you will be screened by the Timmins Police Dispatchers please answer honestly to keep us and other emergency services safe. We are in this together. See more
