Today's terrorist attack at a church in Nice, France is horrific. My sympathies are with the victims' families, and their loved ones. Canada stands in solidarity with France against terrorism and extremism.

I'm saddened to hear about the passing of the Rt. Hon. Don Mazankowski. A proud Albertan, a strong public servant, and a remarkable man, his impact is still felt in Edmonton, where the Heart Institute is named after him. My condolences to his family and friends.

Today, we pause and remember Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent and Corporal Nathan Cirillo, two Canadian heroes that were senselessly murdered six years ago. We will not forget them as we continue to fight terrorism at home and around the world.

I was proud to stand in the House today to vote in favour of accountability, transparency, and to investigate the corruption in this government. The Liberals chose to play politics, make this a confidence vote, and try to force an election in the middle of a pandemic.
