Good morning! As of October 1st there will be a slight price increase to services. To keep it low I've also made some changes. The NOLA Platinum facial will stay priced the same, but will no longer included microdermabrasion. It will now be an add on service. All appointments made before today will be honored at same price and service. Due to product increase and delivery pricing increased. I apologize and did my best to keep services affordable.

Notice to clients with upcoming appointments this week: The City of Cornwall is currently doing road work and the street is closed on Montreal Road between McConnell and Guy St. If you’re looking to access our rear parking lot, you can go south on Mcconell and come up towards the back of the building. ... Please take note that this may take extra time, so please accommodate accordingly when trying to be punctual for your scheduled appointments. Thanks!

What are some benefits of a facial? Facials help reduce the impact of sun exposure, smoking and other environmental factors as well as incorrect product use. Women are more susceptible to aging due to stress. Facials help reduce stress. While stress is quickly rising to number in the premature aging process, it can also act as a rosacea trigger, shorten the life span of your skin cells, aggravate acne and other skin inflammations.... During your facial, your licensed aesthestic, will recommend appropriate skin care for home use to help you continue the benefits of our facial and correct ongoing skin care issues. A transforming experience, getting a facial is an absolutely enjoyable skin treatment. You will feel relaxed, pampered and your skin will feel simply amazing after your facial. You will certainly reap the benefits of a facial during the change of seasons. At a minimum, you should receive a facial treatment four times per year, as the seasons change. Monthly regular facials are the key to clear, smooth and radiant skin throughout the year.

Each mask is infused with electrolytes derived from algae that benefit your skin by helping achieve a natural moisture balance, resulting in healthy, hydrated, and supple looking skin. These hydrojelly masks have incredible soothing and calming effects the perfect way to put the finishing touch on a facial, microdermabrasion session, or even a waxing treatment. While drinking your daily intake of recommended water will make you feel better from the inside out, your skin can...not retain moisture without the proper balance of electrolytes. Did you know that one of the most common causes of dehydrated skin is an electrolyte imbalance? This can be caused by anything from improper diet, medications, or a hormonal imbalance. These masks will instantly infuse your skin with a blast of essential nutrient-rich electrolytes that your skin needs including Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium Chloride, Phosphorus, Bicarbonate, & Sodium Pryophosphate. Every Hydro-jelly mask shares the common ingredients of Algae, Organic White Grain Oat Flour, Organic White Rice Flour, & Organic White Willow Bark Powder. Algae enhances your skins barrier function, replenishes its natural moisture reserves, and increases its moisture-retention capabilities. A powerful antioxidant, it detoxifies and boosts your skin’s defenses against a variety of environmental stressors. Organic White Grain Oat Flour has skin-soothing properties and is hypoallergenic, alleviating rashes, allergic reactions, sunburn, and other irritations. Organic White Rice Flour has excellent cleansing, exfoliating, and conditioning properties for your skin. White Willow Bark is astringent due to its natural tannins and is rich in antioxidants, helping to tone and reduce inflammation as well as provide relief from conditions such as rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. HydroJelly Mask included in every facial. Try one today!

September is National Skincare Awareness month, which means more than just switching up your moisturizers. Help your skin be the best it can be with these skin care tips to make skincare awareness last longer than just a month. Visit a skin specialist. Whether you have never done so before or have regular visits with your Esthetician, your skin will benefit from a top to bottom check-up. A skin specialist will be able to tell you if anything is abnormal that you may not have ...noticed, and can keep tabs on any moles. Self-examine! If you have already seen your skin doctor this year, give yourself regular self-checkups (at least once a month). This will help you keep track of any changes or concerns that may require a professional opinion. Stay hydrated. As the saying goes, it is important to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily. Your skin will stay hydrated, nourished, and glowing from the inside out! Keep wearing sunscreen. Yes, summer is over, but sunscreen should be a part of your skin care routine year-round. Protect your skin from those UV rays and prevent fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, other early signs of aging, and skin cancer. See more

What is Dermaplaning? Dermaplaning is an effective and safe exfoliation procedure. It uses a sterile surgical scalpel to shave the surface of the skin to remove excess dead skin and peach fuzz hairs. The tool is held at a 45 degree angle and is brushed along the skin to remove the hair and skin cells. The procedure is only performed on the face and is not used for shaping the eyebrows, which the hair is much thicker. It is generally a stand alone procedure, but it does crea...te deeper product penetration boosting the products effects. The procedure makes skin look and feel smoother and will reduces the appearance of acne scars. What are the Benefits of Dermaplaning? Provides deeper product penetration Removes soft facial hair that traps dirt and oils Promotes smoother skin Safe procedure for removing dead skin cells and peachfuzz Reduces the appearance of acne scars Diminishes the look of fine lines Works on all skin types Instant results and no downtime How Often is Dermaplaning Performed? Dermaplaning is usually performed every three to four weeks. It is good to have the skin complete its normal rejuvenation cycle, which is thirty days, before going back and having the treatment done. The procedure generally will remove between two to three weeks of dead skin from the facial area. People who suffer from acne or have excess oil should not have dermaplaning performed. The reason why you want to avoid this procedure is because if the hair is removed from the area, the oils may cause bacteria growth which could lead to acne breakouts. What to Expect After the Procedure: Sometimes after dermaplaning, the skin will end up peeling slightly. This normally only happens when there is not enough time in between treatments to let the hair’s growth cycle be completed. This is why it is important to leave enough time between visits to get the best results. There is no need to worry about the hair on your face getting any darker. Since dermaplaning only targets the vellus hair (peachfuzz) the hair will grow back the same size and color. It is physiologically impossible for the hair to grow back thicker and dark, so no need to panic and worry. Never do this procedure at home. Leave it to the professionals. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment or just learning more about dermaplaning or any of our other treatments please call today!
