Tintina Air is proud to help celebrate 100 years of Aviation in the Yukon! Tintina Air is a Yukon owned and operated company formed in 2010 by pilot, Dave Sharp. Dave has decades of flying experience and has worked for Action Aviation, Summit Air, Air North and Alkan Air prior to creating Tintina. ... Tintina Air is an IFR certified fixed-wing charter company based in Whitehorse. In 2017 three of the senior pilots became shareholders. These pilots have experience flying everything from bush planes to medevacs and Boeing 737s. The average flight experience of our aircrew is more than 8000s hours. We are is also very proud to be partially First Nation-owned and also partnered with two Yukon First Nations Development Corporations - the Ross River Dena Council/Dena Nezziddi Development Corporation and the Selkirk Development Corporation/Selkirk First Nation. Shareholder Ian Cosco is the pilot today during the Wing-Tip, in Tintina's wheeled dehavilland Beaver aircraft, C-FDUW. Cosco achieved certification as a Transport Canada Approved Check Pilot in 2019 allowing him to conduct annual IFR and VFR check-rides. You can also watch Cosco on the ice as the Captain of the Tintina Air Beavers Hockey Team! Currently, Tintina Air's entire fleet is made up of 2 Cessna Caravans, 2 Piper Navajos, 2 Dehavilland Beavers, a Cessna 206 and a Bellanca Scout. "With a mile of road, you can drive a mile.
