Just received the news that my "Threads of Time" sold at the Sidney Fine Art show. I'm thrilled skinny :) Yeeehaa :) Threads of Time is a visual story depict...ing a heritage line that dates back to the 1300’s in Ireland. Old family memories woven together with love, paper, thread, rust, silk and eco dyeing. Abstract imagery thrown in for good measure, completes the story to date. A rich history traced back to Irish royalty. Light hearted musicians, storytellers, carpenters, tailors, farmers and entrepreneurs. All contributed genes along the way to eventually accumulate in my existence. See more
Welcome to "LoftVille Art", I'm testing out my new studio name :). I'm sure many of you who wandered by wondered what was going on in the "tiny blue house" that... magically appeared in my front garden. Well this is it, an artist's paradice & my little piece of heaven. At some point down the road I'll open it up for viewing. As soon as I have enough of a collection to show. In the meantime I'm painting to my heart's content and loving my new studio. A huge thank you to Quinn & Cam Yates for taking my studio plans/sketches and building this mini masterpiece. :) See more
