I miss travelling and doing Plein-Airs. While that still isn’t possible (and it’s real cold out) so I thought of the idea of retracing my steps of where I would have travelled to in 2020. Starting off with the neighbourhood in Taiwan where I would have stayed with my friend Julie Hsiao This was of a plant shop, chances were I would have been peeking in like I painted here I listened to the hour of @dasdrew_ ‘s talk with @etchr_lab while painting. Even though there are so much more not enough xxx I could add to the list, so many negatives that I want to blurt out that also happened this year, this is not the time. I want to try to use whatever self love energy I do have to acknowledge all the things I DID accomplish this year. Make a list of your own. It doesn’t have to be big, just make it your own, write down what was important to you and what you are proud of yourself for doing. Even if that is just making a bow ...of cereal for breakfast. I can’t make a theme with the last set for Facebook. So here they all are, stilllife, mood and landscape. Happy Holidays everybody! and if you don’t celebrate, happy New Years, happy today, happy this moment, whatever you choose! I tried lino printing for the first time since maybe high school for this year’s Christmas cards. I was a bit ambitious and wanted to do two tones.. so the actual printing process took at least two nights and two days of drying. *oof* Therefore, I didn’t get to make as many cards I would have liked.
