Did you know we have an inclusion program for our employees? We started our inclusion program back in Jan 2011. Over the years, we have partnered with various agencies to support employees with barriers to employment. We also provide individualized training, mentorship, and special accommodations. It is important for employees to work at a company that addresses and supports inclusion. Our recruitment procedure helps us understand what type of support and accommodations our e...mployees require. Employees only thrive when workplaces are fully supportive. Our commitment to taking accountability lies in respecting individual differences, creating a workplace that is diverse, and help all employees achieve their maximum potential. We strongly believe that understanding and being aware of different disabilities can help us support our employees to the best we can. Moreover, did you know that not all disabilities are visible? We, at Tiny Toes, work hard on breaking down stereotypes, especially when it comes to Mental Health. Building respectful and trusting relationships is imperative, it helps us stay connected with our team and be their support system. We offer a wellness program for our employees which is developed with lots of love and compassion. After all our employees aren't just employees - they are Early Childhood Educators. It is easier for people to focus on disabilities a person has rather than what they continue to achieve, and who they are. It's important to us that we change this perception as people are not defined by their disabilities. This is a particular challenge, especially in an Early Learning & Child Care environment. To change perceptions and attitudes, we educate our families, team, and community, and spread awareness, in various ways. All this helps reduce stereotypes, misconceptions, bias, and discrimination. What are the greatest achievements by a person, with disabilities, you have been proud to be part of?

We are holding a small fundraiser for The Mustard Seed Red Deer and are requesting you all for your contributions. Winter time is very difficult for individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty; this year they will also be dealing with covid-19. With your contributions, we can ensure they stay stress-free, warm, safe and healthy! We are accepting drop-offs by appointments. Please message us or email us at [email protected].
