Tisdale RiverDogs Softball 16.11.2020

Four hits from Macy Hall helped lead the way for Tisdale River Dogs U19 over Humboldt 17-5 on Wednesday. Hall tripled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and doubled in the fourth. Humboldt scored four runs in the fifth inning, but Tisdale River Dogs U19 still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive firepower by Humboldt was led by Emma S and Nicole, all driving in runs in the frame. Humboldt fired up the offense in the first inning, when Abbie... singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run. Tisdale River Dogs U19 put up six runs in the fourth inning. Erin Kirkland, Ashley Kidney, Hall, and Ashlyn Simoneau all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Morgan Dymtrow led things off in the circle for Tisdale River Dogs U19. She lasted three innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out two and walking one. Jordan toed the rubber for Humboldt. She surrendered 14 runs on 13 hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Kaylee threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Tisdale River Dogs U19 smacked one home run on the day. Kirkland had a four bagger in the third inning. Tisdale River Dogs U19 totaled 17 hits. Hall, Emma Markwart, Kirkland, Sky Nagy, and Kidney all collected multiple hits for Tisdale River Dogs U19. Hall went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Tisdale River Dogs U19 in hits. Humboldt had eight hits in the game. Julianna, Abbie, and Rebecca each collected multiple hits for Humboldt.

Tisdale River Dogs U19 watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 18-4 loss to Melfort Spirit U16 on Tuesday. Melfort Spirit U16 scored on an error and a single by Cadence Logan in the second inning. The Tisdale River Dogs U19 struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Melfort Spirit U16, giving up 18 runs. In the first inning, Tisdale River Dogs U19 got their offense started when Tisdale River Dogs U19 scored one run on a... stolen base. Melfort Spirit U16 scored five runs in the third inning. Melfort Spirit U16 big bats were led by Makayla Jack, Leve Ireland, H Hunt, S Arn, and Sydney Scheidel, all knocking in runs in the inning. Kezeema led things off in the circle for Melfort Spirit U16. She went three innings, allowing three runs on three hits, striking out five and walking one. Sky Nagy started the game for Tisdale River Dogs U19. She surrendered three runs on three hits over two innings, striking out four and walking zero. Tisdale River Dogs U19 Can't Catch Up To Humboldt Tisdale River Dogs U19 fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-3 loss to Humboldt on Sunday. Humboldt scored on a home run by #6, a groundout by #8, and an error in the first inning. The Tisdale River Dogs U19 struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Humboldt, giving up 15 runs.... After Tisdale River Dogs U19 scored one run in the top of the second, Humboldt answered with one of their own. Humboldt then answered when Ashlyn Simoneau threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Humboldt. Humboldt scored five runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Humboldt came thanks to singles by #8 and #11, by #12, and a double by #2. #6 was in the circle for Humboldt. She lasted three innings, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out two. Simoneau was on the rubber for Tisdale River Dogs U19. She lasted two innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out two. Emma Markwart and Morgan Dymtrow entered the game as relief, throwing one and one-third innings and two-thirds of an inning respectively. Humboldt launched two home runs on the day. #6 went for the long ball in the first inning. #2 put one out in the third inning. Tisdale River Dogs U19 Fights Back in Loss to Melfort Spirit 19U Despite a 7-run deficit in the fourth inning, Tisdale River Dogs U19 almost came all the way back, eventually falling 8-6 to Melfort Spirit 19U on Sunday. Tisdale River Dogs U19 put up five runs in the failed comeback. Emma Markwart, Ashley Kidney, Ashlyn Simoneau, Elly Kerluke, and Blaise Townsend came through with RBIs to lead the rally. Tisdale River Dogs U19 collected seven hits and Melfort Spirit 19U had ...five in the high-scoring affair. Tisdale River Dogs U19 scored three runs in the fifth inning. Tisdale River Dogs U19 put the pressure on, lead by singles by Markwart, Kidney, and Simoneau. Melfort Spirit 19U scored four runs in the fourth inning. Melfort Spirit 19U's big inning was driven by a walk by Saige Tondell, a single by Alexis Gerski, an error on a ball put in play by Erin Rheaume, and a double by Jessica JPaskell. Tondell got the start for Melfort Spirit 19U. She surrendered one run on zero hits over three innings, striking out five. Sky Nagy started the game for Tisdale River Dogs U19. She went two innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out two and walking zero. Morgan Dymtrow and Markwart entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.
