I’ve always tried to avoid my darkness, thinking that it was bad. Yes bad. What I am learning is that the more I can sit in this place without judgement, the more I can embrace my wholeness. ... Darkness is my teacher. My light illuminates that which is out of sync with my path and where I want to be. So I can choose where I want to be. Without the darkness I stay complacent in my life and that is NOT what I want for myself. It’s not an easy place to stay, that I can admit. But I will embrace my darkness when it shows up.
