Attention Intermediate Families: Paper packages are ready to be picked up for Asynchronous Non-Digital Learners as well as those Face to Face students who have requested paperwork (from the classroom teacher) for the next two weeks. Parents are asked to come to the front of the building and call the office @ (613) 342-1100, extension"0". Staff will bring the packages out to you. As a reminder, for students who are working online, parents are asked to contact the Intermediate office (extension 224) if your child is not able to join the remote learning on a specific day. Secondary Morning Announcements Monday, November 2nd, 2020 Attention Pirates! Over the course of today and tomorrow, academic awards will be distributed to the students who scored the highest marks in last year’s courses. If you don’t get your award today, you will tomorrow. A complete list of award recipients has been posted in a video on the TISS Facebook page. Congratulations to all of our award winners for the 2019-2020 school year!... Brockville Police and Stingers After School Program is back! Although it may look a little different, there is still lots of fun to be had! Every Tuesday Stingers will be open to students grades 7-12 for free! Sign up to participate is required. There are limited spaces due to COVID precautions. Call/text Hope at 613-246-3517 or email [email protected] to sign up. There will be snacks, wifi, laser tag, basketball, badminton, tennis and table tennis. Aaron’s Musical Instrument Lending Library is also open! Learn how to play a musical instrument and jam with your friends! Individually packed snacks will be provided safely. There will be 15 youth allowed per time slot and 5 allowed per time slot for Aaron’s MILL. The time slots are 3:00pm-3:50pm, 4:10pm-5:00pm. Please come with the waiver signed. All precautions and sanitization will take place - please wear a mask when not participating in physical activity. Please note that the after school program looks different than it used to - remember to sign up beforehand and physically distance from others! Looking forward to seeing some excited faces! Bocce is Back! We have been given the go ahead to play because Bocce is a no contact sport We can play safely by staying at least 6 feet apart; We will be wearing our masks; We will be using hand sanitizer; and Equipment will be sanitized before and after each practice. Beginning this week: Junior players are invited to play Thursdays during their lunch. Senior players are invited to play Fridays during their lunch. All practices will be in the dance room 119. This morning at 8:30am, we will be ringing the fire alarm bell so you can hear what it sounds like. Please do not exit the building. Instead of practicing fire drills as we usually do, your teacher will be leading your class through two fire drill practices this week, when the hallway is clear and your class can stay together. We will announce all future fire drills. Please ensure your child checks in at the office too. ...
